Upload an entire event in one batch, then tag the pupils pictured using your school’s live pupil data. Once pupils are tagged, The School Gallery knows which parents need to make a decision about each photo.
Parents receive a simple email link to the photo and choose whether to Approve or Deny it – no app required.
If every family involved approves, the full-resolution image can be released to the relevant families.
If a family hasn’t responded, the image remains locked. If a parent denies it, the photo is removed from the platform.
Photos of only one family’s children skip this entirely – there is no other family to ask, so they are ready to download straight away. Parents can still object to any photo at any time.
Until every family involved has approved a photo, they see only a protected, low-resolution preview. The full-resolution image is never made available through The School Gallery before all approvals are in place.
Photos awaiting approval are shown only as low-resolution, visibly watermarked previews – never the original file.
Once every family involved has approved, the full-resolution image becomes available to the relevant families.
Viewer-specific forensic marking is embedded into downloaded copies, helping identify the source if a copy is later shared or misused.
