Every part of the platform is built around one simple rule: the full-resolution photo is only released when every family involved has said yes.
Where a photo shows only one family's children, there is nobody else to ask – so it is ready for them as soon as it is uploaded. If another child is tagged in it later, it locks again until their family agrees.
A photo is released for download only once every tagged pupil's family has approved it – one denial and the photo is removed from the platform.

No. Parents can make their decision directly from the email link they receive.
If a parent has not yet responded, the full-resolution image remains locked. If a parent denies the photo, it is removed from the platform and is not shared with the other families.
Yes. Parents can withdraw approval for a photo they have previously approved. The photo is then removed from The School Gallery and is no longer available for other families to download. Any copies already downloaded cannot be recalled.
Parents can also request that future photos featuring their child are not shared with other families through The School Gallery. This applies only to sharing through the platform – it does not withdraw or change any separate photography or image-use consent held by the school.
Yes. Staff can sign in using supported Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts.
